A race war

As the nation grappled with the carnage of Wednesday’s massacre at the Church, the bloodshed has shaken Charleston — and the nation.  Kent Williams the cousin of the Pastor said this about the incident “It says to the world that we’re not safe anywhere anymore. … It is despicable.”

Shooting suspect Dylann Roof appears in court

Before Roof left the church, he stood over one of the victims and “uttered a racially inflammatory statement,” according to his arrest warrant.

“It is devastating that somebody would go into God’s house and commit such a crime,” said Kent Williams.

The 21 year old Roof appeared before a judge Friday through a remote video feed, showing no emotion in a striped prison jumpsuit. He is charged with nine counts of murder.
His plan to start a race war through hate crimes was shattered as this young man was met by an amazing level of forgiveness and repentance messages from the family members of the deceased.
May Roof learn as he would go through his sentence, how greater and mightier is Love than hate! May this change his heart.
Some of the comments:
“You hurt a lot of people but God forgives you, and I forgive you,” a daughter of Ethel Lance said.

Felecia Sanders — the mother who saw her son die Wednesday night — recalled how she and the others welcomed Roof into the Bible study.  “We enjoyed you,” she told the court. “But may God have mercy on you.”

The true spirit of a Christian stands out, letting the world know that there is power in Forgiveness!
